In 2007 I started selling DVDs on ebay, imports that seemed like they were totaly legit. I thought they were exactly the same as USA except the packaging. I received a large number of orders for The Sopranos and people immediately started complaining because they were imports. Since then I hooked up with a wholesale supplier that is selling TV dvd sets at a very reasonable price, however it has become obvious that these are copies, a few bad discs here and there. I have watched some of these sets myself and they are as good as the studios, hard to tell that they aren't excepth the art work on the box is printed from an inkjet printer.
Started selling these on ebay and created a real can of worms, I am refunding about 30% of what I sold and the feedback has killed me. I am probably going to get booted. I have almost 700 feedbacks and 6 neg and 2 neutral. The shipping time is an issue and buyers are complaing about rreceiving dvd with paying too much for shipping, that is neither here nor there. My question is how the supplier I have can sell copies on-line and get away with it.
I want to continue selling dvds it is a good business but I want it to be above board totally. I am in the process of publishing a webpage that will be very well supported and well designed. Now I have to make it work.
