Hanes No Show Socks

Hanes Men’s No-Show Socks are completely not what they should be. They obviously don’t know what no-show means, because you can still see the socks. They are too high, even the image they have on their website and product proves they dont understand the concept. No show means, don’t allow the sock to be seen even with low cut shoes.

One Size Fits All Doesn’t Work with No Show Socks

When it comes to one size fits all, it doesn’t work with no show socks (sometimes called shoe liners, sock slippers or low cut socks). Selling no-show socks in size 6-12 simply doesn’t work. One or two inches extra on ankle socks or calf socks is fine, but with no show socks you can’t have any extra fabic. I’ve read they used to sell these in sizes Small, Medium and Large, but have yet to find any of those in the stores.

Pick the right pair of black denim jeans

Figured something I’ve known for awhile and that’s how to pick black denim jeans that won’t fade that bad and how to wash them so they won’t fade as fast. When you wash them, put them inside out, wash in cold water and don’t put them in the dryer. When you buy a pair of jeans don’t get the solid black ones, because they seem to fade much faster than the black jeans with a small bit of white stitching showing up. If you buy Levi’s, then they are often called Black Diamond, Dusted Black, or Tumbled Black.

Here are 3 pictures to give you an idea of what I mean by the white stitching.

And here is a picture of the solid black jeans to avoid.

Men’s Shorts Are Too Long and Too Baggy

Seriously is it still the 1990s? Or has basketball fashion influenced men’s shorts? It seems this year’s fashion are cargo shorts which seem bulkier and slightly heavier. And why do men’s shorts have to go down to the knees or mid-way behind them? Shorts today are too long, they feel like capri pants that shrunk. I’m not looking for the 1980s too short shorts or skinny shorts, but ones that go a little above the knees and are slightly tapered. I have been able to find a few pair, but they go for like $20-$35 a pair. And why do we need shorts that are straight leg (baggy on the leg holes)? They should be slightly tapered at the end.

Believe or not these images are from 2010, not 1995.

Flexfit Baseball Hats

I usually only like to wear hats if I’m riding my bike or doing work outside. But one thing I’ve noticed is that the the ones with the little plastic snaps, usually end up breaking after awhile. I’ve noticed that the thicker your hair is the more it seems to put stress on those notches. Its also probably because I usually wear hats backwards. So, I found about these Flexfit baseball caps, they look like fitted hats but have a elastic band inside that expands if need be. They come in just a few sizes so you don’t have to remember your hat size. Just another one of those inventions that make you think, “Why didn’t I think of that?”.
